he Q-Star FlashCAM system is designed to give cities, towns, schools, and others a pro-active tool to deter or stop graffiti, vandalism, illegal trash dumping, etc. The system was not designed to be a hidden covert camera . Its bright flash and loud voice message sends an unmistakable signal to the vandals: this city cares. You will be held accountable for your actions.

School District No. 42 Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows is currently testing the device and will provide a report here on its effectiveness soon.
